I’m Alexander Georgoulakis, but most people just call me Geo.

My start in this industry wasn't exactly high-end. Growing up in San Antonio, my first real gig was shooting Friday night football games for my high school. The gear I had couldn't keep up with the action, which meant I had to figure out how to fix the footage in post. I spent countless hours in the edit bay just trying to make basic clips look professional, and that’s where I actually fell in love with the technical side of post-production.

Fast forward to today, I work across the Atlanta and Texas markets as a Post Supervisor and Digital Imaging Technician. After managing the post-production pipelines for TV pilots and commercial campaigns, I’ve realized my biggest strength is keeping the workflow organized. I know how to handle massive amounts of media so the creative process doesn't get bogged down.

But I also don't want to just sit in a dark room all day. Being on set as a DIT lets me protect the project from day one. Because I understand the camera sensors, the color science, and the data architecture, I can build a workflow that actually holds up under pressure. For me, it’s about doing the heavy lifting on set so that when the drives finally hit the post house, the editors can just focus on the story.
